I’m Carmen Pombero, writer, Podcaster & Speaker and soul therapist, founder of Surya Reiki Axarquía—a peaceful space for healing, balance and inner transformation in the heart of the beautiful Axarquía region of southern Spain.
After spending many years on the Costa del Sol, I felt called to begin a new chapter here and help people to slow down, release what no longer serves them, reconnect with themselves, and rediscover their inner light.
I trained in Madrid and am a certified Angelic Reiki and Emotional Healing Therapist, Meditation and Relaxation Instructor, Coach and Art Therapist. I am also a certified Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) teacher, a qualification that allows me to create welcoming and accessible experiences for the international community living in the Axarquía through my Art Therapy and Raja Yoga classes.
Before dedicating my life to well being, I enjoyed a long international career as a writer, playwright, screenwriter, speaker, mentor and educator. Those years taught me the power of listening, storytelling and human connection—qualities that now enrich every healing session I offer.
My work combines energetic and intuitive guidance to support each person's unique healing journey. No two sessions are ever the same, because every individual arrives with their own story, energy and needs. My role is simply to hold a safe, compassionate space where healing can unfold naturally.
For me, healing is a journey back to your true self. It is not only about relieving physical or emotional discomfort, but about restoring balance, clearing energetic blocks and remembering the light that has always existed within you.
Alongside my in-person sessions, I also write books, podcast and create Spanish-language digital content dedicated to mindfulness, personal growth and conscious living, helping people continue their journey wherever they are.
Today, my purpose is simple: to help people reconnect with their inner peace, strength and light.
